Thinking about switching you cellphone network, but don’t know how to get out of your current contract without paying a huge early termination fee? T-Mobile says it’ll reimburse you for that fee if you switch to its network.
You’ll still need to pay the early termination fee, but when  you send T-Mobile proof of the fee incurred, the company will send you up to $350 per phone line.
Customers will also have to sign up for  T-Mobile Simple Choice Plan, but the good news is that the company will also offer up to $300 in credit toward a new phone when you trade in your existing handset. If you don’t trade in your old phone and port your phone number to T-Mobile, you don’t qualify for the reimbursement money.
Signing up for a T-Mobile pre-paid plan also won’t qualify you, but the company’s post-paid plans have prices starting as low as $50 per month for unlimited talk and text 500MB of data.
The deal is good for customers in the US who are switching from Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint, and customers can sign up starting January 9th, 2014.
Still waiting for some better mobile broadband deals. I plan on getting a Windows 8 tablet with LTE. It doesn’t qualify for Android and iPad plans.
If it’s usable on T-Mobile all you need to get is a T-Mobile SIM card and pop it in. They give 250MB(I think) of free data. I know it isn’t much but if you’re attached to WiFi all the time it might be all you need.
Now if only their network coverage made the switch worth it for me, which it emphatically does not.
