Budget tablet maker E Fun is launching a new line of Android tablets, including its first models with quad-core processors. Prices are expected to start at about $100, and even the highest-priced model in the lineup will only cost about $150.
E Fun plans to start shipping the Nextbook 7, Nextbook 8, and Nextbook 10 tablets in the first quarter of 2014.
E Fun has been offering Nextbook tablets for a few years, but some of the company’s earliest tablets were pretty underwhelming. About a year ago, things started looking up when the low-cost tablet maker started shipping Google certified devices — and all of E Fun’s tablets since then have shipped with the Google Play Store and access to Google apps such as Gmail and Google Maps.
The $130 Nextbook 8 tablet features a 7.85 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. It supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and features a 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor.
The company has shared fewer details about its other new tablets, but we can expect a 7 inch model with a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 8GB of storage, and a dual core processor for $100 and a 10 inch Nextbook 10 with a 1024 x 600 pixel display and 16GB of storage.
I like to know how to change the password I did it on my phone but can’t seem to do it on here
…someone (the mfg. &/or Walmart perhaps) should offer ‘covers’ for these unit as finding an 8 inch 4×3 ‘cover’ for one of these is next to impossible.
