Samsung has been a key player in the Chrome OS space since the beginning. The company was one of the first to release a Chromebook. Samsung was the first company to launch a model with an ARM-based processor. And… that’s about it for now. Samsung’s last new Chromebook was launched in late 2012 and the hardware hasn’t been updated since.

That could soon change… there are rumors that Samsung is getting ready to launch a new model with a faster CPU, more memory, and a higher-resolution display.

  2. I am beginning to wonder if Samsung has unlimited production capacity. They just keep producing new devices.
