Verizon’s latest tablet is a low-cost model that the wireless carrier will slap its own name on. The Verizon Ellipsis feature a 7 inch HD display, support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and a $250 price tag. It launches November 7th and the Ellipsis will be available exclusively from Verizon.
For a limited time, you can pick one up for $150 if you sign up for a 2-year Verizon wireless contract — the company is offering $100 off the price of any tablet when you sign a contract.
The Verizon Ellipsis has a front-facing camera, features Google Android software, and comes with a handful or apps preloaded, including Amazon’s Kindle app for reading eBooks and the Redbox Instant app for streaming videos.
It also features the Verizon messages app, which lets you send and receive text messages from the tablet.
Verizon’s not providing many more details about the tablet, but it’s rumored to feature a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, a 1280 x 800 pixel display, 8GB of storage, and a 4000mAh battery.
