Word Lens is an app that lets you point a camera at objects in the real world, translate any text, and replace the text with a new language. It doesn’t always work perfectly, but when it does it’s kind of sci-fi crazy cool — but up until now, you’ve had to point your iPhone or Android device at an object to translate it.
Now the makers of Word Lens have unveiled a new app for Google Glass, which means that if you’re wearing Glass all you have to do is look at text, trigger a translate command, and a translation will appear in your field of vision.
Not having to hold your phone up to your face makes Word Lens even cooler.
