Fujitsu’s Lifebook T904 is an ultrabook with a 13 inch display that you can twist and fold down over the keyboard to let you use the computer as a tablet. While that design is hardly new, the Lifebook T904 has a number of features that help set it apart.
First, it has a 13.3 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel IGZO display. Second it supports both finger and pen input. And third, the notebook is business-friendly, with a SmartCard slot, docking connector, a fingerprint sensor, and optional 3G and 4G capabilities, among other things.
Fujitsu’s ultrabook features an Intel Haswell processor with Intel HD 4400 graphics, up to 8GB of RAM, and Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 Pro software.
It has a USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and Ethernet jacks, a flash card reader, headset jack, and WiFi and Bluetooth. There’s a shock sensor to protect the hard drive, an optional backlit keyboard, and an HD webcam.
The notebook features stereo speakers, a dual microphone array, and a battery which should get up to 8.5 hours of run time. Fujitsu says the weight of the laptop varies depending on the battery, but doesn’t bother to provide even a base weight for the notebook. We do know it measures 12.6″ x 9.3″ x 0.76″ and if Fujitsu’s past business-oriented laptops are anything to go by, the Lifebook T904 probably won’t be cheap.
