Ever since Barnes & Noble dropped the price of its NOOK HD+ tablet to $149, it’s been one of the best bargains in the Android tablet world. That’s a pretty great price for a tablet featuring a 9 inch, 1920 x 1280 pixel display, an ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, full access to the Google Play Store, and a microSD card slot.

The only thing it doesn’t have is a camera.

Anyway, if $149 isn’t good enough for you, today you can pick one up for just $110. Sure, that’s the price for a used tablet — but it comes with a 1 year warranty.

  1. So I ordered it. It shipped, after 9 days I still can’t track it through their tracking site. AliExpress has updated the order to be frozen. They say: “The supplier is recently found to have unsafe trading activities. To protect your trade safety , we have decided to check this order, please be patient “. I dont know how that relates to an item that has already been shipped, but I am watching it closely.

      1. That’s what I was thinking. But Aliexpress won’t pay the seller, until I press the ‘item received’ button, and can even get a refund if it takes too long, I really can’t see how they plan to keep the money if they decide to scam me…

          1. Well, I’ve bought lot of things from Aliexpress before (including my current phone), but you are right, if it’s too good to be true, it’s probably a scam…

          2. That’s a misleading “answer.” AliExpress isn’t a single retailer. It’s a marketplace, sort of like eBay, and a number of Chinese companies sell their products. Like eBay, there’s some risk involved in ordering from a seller you’re not familiar with, or who has poor feedback.

But I’ve successfully ordered products from sellers on AliExpress with no problems at all.

          3. Agree with Mr. Linder on this one. Have you even read the accepted answer on the link you are referring to? It’s like the post from hell. =)

    1. I ordered it. They have accepted my order and it has been shipped. I have a tracking number. Still, I expect a brick when it arrives. Then I’ll laugh out loud because I’ve been had. If I actually get the phone, that is just a bonus… =)

      1. According to Aliexpress, I can ask for a refund if I don’t get the package within 25 days or if the contains of the package are not what was advertised. Even if I get a brick, it’s a free brick. 🙂

        1. Indeed. I feel more confident about the AliExpress Buyer protection, than what I have actually ordered. But hey, it has been shipped. Waiting anxiously to find out what I actually get… =)
