All three sizes of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 tablets are now available for purchase in the US, with prices starting at $199 for a 7 inch model, $299 for the 8.9 inch version, and $399 for the Galaxy Tab 3 (10.1).

While those prices are decent, they’re nothing particularly spectacular. But there are a few perks to buying a Samsung tablet — when you buy a Galaxy Tab 3 in the US you get credit to spend in the Google Play Store, and access to two pretty handy subscriptions.

Galaxy Tab 3 customers get $10 to spend on apps, music, movies, or other content from the Google Play Store. It’s not quite as good as the $25 credit you get when you buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet, but it still effectively knocks $10 off the price of the tablet… assuming you were planning to spend money on apps or content anyway.

Samsung is also offering customers 3 months of free access to Hulu Plus. The online TV and video service normally costs $7.99 per month.

And when you register your tablet, you also get 12 months of access to Boingo WiFi hotspots across the country.

Both the Hulu Plus and Boingo credits are only open to new customers — you can’t knock $23.97 off your next 3 Hulu Plus bills if you’re already a paying subscriber.

You can register for the perks of Galaxy Tab 3 ownership at Samsung’s website.

Incidentally, Galaxy Note 8.0 customers also get the same Boingo and Hulu Plus perks, plus the larger Google Play credit.

  1. They have been really quiet about the processors in these things – other than that they are Exynos based, have you been able to get any information about what’s in it and how it performs?

      1. Only one version of the 10″ model would be using a ATOM… the rest are all ARM based…
