Google has consistently denied plans to bring the Chrome OS operating system to tablets. But that hasn’t stopped the company from releasing a high-end Chromebook with a touchscreen display and developing an on-screen keyboard for Chrome OS devices with touch panels.

There’s not much reason to use the keyboard on a notebook… which raises the question of what exactly it’s there for.
