I’ve been pretty impressed with the performance of the Rockchip RK3188 quad-core processor in the Cube U30GT2. But generally I prefer tablets with screens smaller than 10 inches.
Fortunately, we’re starting to see smaller tablets with the same RK3188 chip. Padhz spotted an 8.9 inch tablet with Rockchip’s quad-core processor and a high-resolution display at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair.
The Five Elements ifive X2 tablet features an 8.9 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display, an RK3188 processor, and 2GB of RAM and a microSD card slot.
The tablet has a 7200mAh battery, WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 5MP rear-facing camera with a 2MP camera on the front.
Unfortunately there’s no word on how much this tablet will cost or when it will be available for purchase.
How is the battery last longer?
Smaller bezel would have been nice.
