Chinese device maker ICOO plans to launch a new Android tablet with an Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core chip. But lots of tablets have those chips these days. What makes the ICOO ICOU12GT stand out is the 11.6 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display.
Geekbuying reports the upcoming tablet will features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It has PowerVR SGX 544 graphics and a 5MP camera. It also has a full-sized USB 2.0 port, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Most Android tablets have 7 or 10 inch displays, although we’re starting to see some models with larger 13 inch screens. But this is one of the first models I’ve seen with an 11.6 inch, 1080p display, which should make it a decent option for watching HD videos.
At 1.4 pounds, the tablet is also reasonably light for a device of its size.
