The Amazon Kindle Touch may not have all the bells and whistles of the new Kindle Paperwhite, but it does have a 6 inch E Ink touchscreen display and space for plenty of eBooks. It’s also a lot cheaper than the $119 Kindle Paperwhite.

Kindle Touch landscape

Amazon doesn’t actually sell the Kindle Touch anymore, but DailySteals is offering refurbished models today only for $69, or you can get a used (and probably scuffed) one from CowBoom for even less.

Also, apparently today is refurb day — because almost every good deal I could find on mobile devices and accessories were for certified refurbished products.

Some may show signs of wear, and they may not have the same warranties you’d get with a new model (the refurbished Kindle Touch, for instance, has just a 90 day warranty). But if you’re cool with that, you can save a lot of money by buying refurbished.

You can find more bargains in our daily deals section.

  1. Does anyone know if the Kindle Touch mentioned uses the Ivona voices that are in the Kindle Fire, or the old Nuance voices used in the Kindle keyboard?
