The HP EliteBook Folio 9470m  is a 3.6 laptop with a 14 inch display, an Intel Ivy Bridge processor, and enterprise-friendly features. Measuring 0.75 inches thick and featuring a choice of hard disk or solid state disk, the EliteBook Folio falls squarely into the ultrabook category.
Unfortunately, like many of HP’s ultrabooks, the EliteBook Folio is hobbled by a 1366 x 768 pixel display. But Engadget reports that could change in a few months.
Come March, HP plans to offer the option of a higher resolution 1600 x 900 pixel display.
The rest of the specs will likely stay the same, including support for Windows 7 or Windows 8, Core i3 through Core i7 processor options, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, VGA and Displayport, Ethernet, and memory card ports.
The laptop also has a spill-resistant keyboard, an optional battery slice which can provide up to 22 hours of run time when combined with the standard battery, and optional enterprise features including a smart card reader, TPM security chip, and fingerprint scanner. HP also offers an optional docking station.
