Best Buy already sells a fair number of tablets. Now the company plans to sell its own tablet. The company is preparing to launch a 9.7 inch tablet under the Insignia brand, which is the name Best Buy brands its own computers with.
The Insignia Flex features a 1 GHz dual core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandiwch operating system, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
Best Buy plans to start selling the Flex around November 11th.
There’s no word on how much it will cost, exactly what processor it will have, how much RAM or storage it will have… or any of the other things I’d like to know, such as whether Best Buy will be loading up the tablet with bloatware, or if the company will offer a stock Android experience.
Update: It looks like the tablet could sell for between $239 and $259.

Well let’s see if we can’t answer those questions for you… as boone said, it is BB so yes on the Bloatware. AT&T level bloatware. A 2-core 1ghz processor sounds a lot like a Tegra 2, so we are looking at a 2 year old processor. Their target here is the uneducated consumer looking for something cheaper than an IPad, so I don’t think a $350 price tag would be out of the question.
