Chinese device maker ZTE is working hard to enter the US market, bringing smartphones and tablets to US shores. At least one of those will be a Windows tablet called the ZTE V98.

The tablet features a 10.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, an Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor, 64GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot for up to 32GB of additional space.

It has a front-facing 8M camera, a 2MP camera on the back, and a 7000mAh battery. The V98 also has an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor.

Wireless connectivity includes 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and optional NFC and 3G and 4G mobile broadband.

Engadget got a chance to check one out at an Intel event this week, and reports the ZTE V98 is due out in early 2013.
