Asus isn’t the only company bringing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to its tablets this week. Acer has also started rolling out a software update for its latest 10 inch tablet, the Iconia Tab A700.

Android Police reports that folks with Acer’s 10.1 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel tablet are starting to receive over-the-air updates that bring Google’s latest operating system to the A700.

The software update weighs in at 332MB and should bring Android 4.1 goodies including a more robust notification panel, the ability to automatically resize widgets when you add or move content to the home screen, and improved voice recognition and search capabilities.

There’s no word on when Acer will roll out Jelly Bean to its other 10 inch and 7 inch tablets such as the Iconia Tab A200, A500, or A100. The upcoming Iconia Tab A110 will ship with Android 4.1.
