Dell is showing off its first Windows RT tablet at the IFA trade show in Berlin this week. The upcoming Dell XPS 10 tablet will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 ARM-based processor and Microsoft Windows RT software.

The 10 inch tablet can also be joined to a keyboard docking station for use as a laptop — and like the popular Asus Transformer line of Android tablets, the keyboard dock also has a battery which can double the tablet’s battery life.

In fact, The Verge reports that Dell promises the XPS 10 tablet will be able to run for up to 20 hours on a charge when you use the tablet with the keyboard dock.

Dell is expected to launch the XPS 10 tablet in late October when Microsoft releases Windows 8 and Windows RT. The company hasn’t yet revealed how much the XPS 10 tablet will cost — or if it will ship standard with the keyboard or if you’ll need to pay extra for that accessory.
