Barnes & Noble has unveiled its first 4 retail partners in the UK. You’ll soon be able to pick up NOOK eReaders at Argos, Blackwell’s, Foyles, or John Lewis.

The bookseller will also make its digital book store available in the UK, which means if you do happen to stop by one of those stores to buy a NOOK, you’ll also be able to download eBooks, newspapers, magazines, or comics from the B&N NOOK Shop.

NOOK Simple Touch

B&N will offer the NOOK Simple Touch and NOOK Simple Touch with Glowlight in the UK starting in mid-October.

There’s no mention of the NOOK Color or NOOK Tablet in any of the press releases about the UK launch, so if you’re looking for an Android-powered color eReader, you might be better off with an Amazon Kindle (if you can find one) or a straight-up tablet like the Google Nexus 7.
