Fujitsu plans to launch a new tablet aimed at business later this year. It’s called the Fujitsu Stylistic Q702, and it will ship with Windows 7 this fall, but it will be also be available with Windows 8 after Microsoft releases its next-gen operating system in a few months.

Fujitsu Stylistic Q702

The Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 features an 11.6 inch display and weighs about 1.9 pounds. There’s also an optional keyboard dock which transforms the computer into a laptop. While the laptop dock adds a little size and weight to the tablet, it also has its own battery, giving you more run time for up to 9 hours of battery life.

The tablet will be available with an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, and a 64GB or 128GB solid state disk. It has USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and HDMI port, and an SDHC card slot.

Fujitsu will offer the Stylistic Q702 this fall for $1099 and up.

  1. There’s some information on the linked article, but no mention of the screen resolution.

    1. I’ve come to expect that when there’s no resolution listed, that probably means it’s 1366 x 768. But I didn’t say anything in the article because I don’t know for certain.

While 1366 x 768 is starting to feel a bit dated generally, it’s not a bad choice for an 11.6 inch screen.
