Archos is throwing its hat into the hybrid tablet/laptop ring with the Archos 101xs. Like the Asus Transformer Pad and Lenovo IdeaTab S2110, the 101xs is a 10 inch Android tablet with an optional keyboard docking station which lets you use the device more like a traditional laptop.

The company first unveiled the Archos 101xs in March. It’s not yet available for purchase, but the tablet showed up at the FCC this week.

It’s not clear if the Archos docking station has its own battery like the other tablets — but one of the best features of the Asus and Lenovo hybrids is the ability to double your tablet’s battery life when the dock is connected.

What we do know is that the Archos 101xs will run Android 4.0 and feature HDMI, USB, and microSD card slots.
