Fujitsu is launching two new new ultrabooks in the US this week. The Fujitsu LifeBook UH572 features a 13.3 inch display and a starting price of $999, while the LifeBook U722 has a 14 inch screen and starts at $1149.

Both thin and light laptops feature Intel Ivy Bridge processors, and each should be available in the US this week.

This ultrabook features a 14 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and a choice of an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor. It measures 0.69 inches thick and weighs 3.15 pounds.

It will be available with up to 256GB of solid state storage, or a 500GB hard drive with 32GB of solid state cache.

The LifeBook U722 offers up to 7 hours of battery life.

The 13.3 inch model features a 1366 x 768 pixel display, an Intel Core i5 processor, Intel WiDi wireless display technology, and HDMI output.

While the $999 ultrabook has a smaller screen than the U722, it’s actually a bit pudgier, measuring 0.71 inches thick and weighing 3.5 pounds. It offers up to 6 hours of battery life.

Fujitsu only offers a 500GB hard drive and 32GB SSD cache option for this model. There’s no option for a larger SSD.
