Acer is launching a new 11.6 inch notebook as part of its TravelMate line of business-friendly laptops. The TravelMate B1 is available in Europe with starting prices around 400 Euros ($500 US).

Update: The Acer TravelMate B113 is now available in the US as well

For that price you can’t exactly expect top-of-the-line features, and you don’t exactly get them. The Acer TravelMate B1 is available with a choice of a 1.4 GHz Intel Celeron B877, 1.3 GHz Pentium B967 or 1.5 GHz Core i3-2377M Sandy Bridge processor.

All three models feature integrated Intel graphics.

The notebook has a 1366 x 768 pixel display, 4GB of RAM, 500GB of hard disk space, and Ethernet, USB 3.0, VGA, and HDMI ports.

It weighs 4.1 pounds, which is kind of on the heavy side for an 11.6 inch notebook.

There’s no word on if or when we’ll see this model in the US.
