The Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 is an unusual tablet by Android tablet standards. It has a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel IPS display which makes it look a bit more like an iPad or HP TouchPad than the widescreen 7, 9, and 10 inch tablets that are all the rage these days.
Update: The Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 goes on sale in the US in June for $349.
The tablet features a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor, Android 4.0 operating system, and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It has a microHDMI port, microSD card slot, and a unibody case that’s 0.35 inches thick.
Lenovo says the tablet should get up to 10 hours of battery life. It features 4 speakers, SRS audio, and an IPS display with 178 degree viewing angles.
There’s no information about the release date or price yet.
