Archos has finally posted official product pages for two of its Arnova G3 tablets. Specs and photos are now available for the Arnova 10b G3 and Arnova 9 G3. And Adorama is already taking orders for the 10 inch model.

Arnova g3 tablets

Arnova is the budget line of tablets from Archos. They sell less than Archos-branded tablets and generally feature cheaper specs. But today’s third generation Arnova tablet isn’t that different from yesterday’s Archos model.

The Arnova 10b G3 is expected to sell for about $200. It has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, support for 1080p HD video playback and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software.

But this is still far from a top of the line tablet. It ships with just 4GB or 8GB of storage and has a resistive touchscreen display with support for two-finger touch input.

The 10 inch tablet measures 10.6″ x 5.9″ x 0.5″ and weighs about 1.4 pounds.

The Arnova 9 G3 also has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB to 8GB of storage, and Android 4.0 software.

But this model has a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel IPS display. It has a capacitive touchscreen display with support for 5 point multitouch. I wouldn’t be surprised if it also has a slightly higher price tag, but I haven’t seen a retail product listing for this tablet yet.

The Arnova 9 G3 measures 9.4″ x 7.2″ x 0.5″ and weighs 1.4 pounds.

  1. The first ‘more expensive stablemates’ should have gotten ICS themselves instead! Archos is only interested in selling new devices and never give them REAL updates. Before buying you should realize that these devices will never see the next main version of Android (in this case Jelly Bean).

  2. That 9G3 looks interesting, even if it has the usual Arnova limited connectivity (tho there is a full USB port apparently).
