The Motorola XYBOARD 8.2 tablet recently started shipping — but if you’re one of the first people to plunk down $400 or more for Motorola’s latest tablet, odds are you’re not exactly interested in ripping it to pieces to see what lies on the inside.

Motorola XYBOARD 8.2 FCC

Fortunately that’s where the FCC comes in. The XYBOARD 8.2 passed through Federal Communications website features back in November, but many of the details were protected by confidentiality requests.

Now the confidentiality agreement regarding internal photos of the tablet has been lifted. That means we can now see photos of the mainboard, camera, headset  jack, battery, speaker, case and other goodies.

To be honest, there aren’t a lot of surprised under the hood of the tablet. But if you’ve always wanted to know what the XYBOARD 8.2’s antenna looks like with and without insulation tape, now’s your chance to find out.

The tablet has a 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB to 32GB of storage. It weighs 0.86 pounds and runs Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
