Asus may be working on a new tablet with the model number TF300T. It was spotted by the folks at nccc.cool3c.com in China.

Asus TF300T

For reference, the original Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet is the TF101, and the recently launched Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the TF201.

There’s reason to think that the only other model that’s been announced to date is called the TF700. That model will be an updated Transformer Prime with a high resolution 1920 x 1200 pixel display along with the usual NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

Aside from the model number and a few photos showing a textured rear panel with a red coat of paint, there’s not much information available about the TF300T. It’s manufactured by Taiwanese manufacturer Wistron and it was certified on January 19th.

  1. I personally couldn’t give two hoots about all this as I have got the current Prime and it’s been completely amazing for me. Honestly cannot fault it and would recommend to anyone! 🙂

  2. Suggestion to ASUS – allocate more of your resources to production so already announced models such as the TF201 get produced in the required quantity to fill existing orders. Those of us who have two month old backordered tablets are tired of waiting.
