Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an Android tablet with a 7.7 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED display. The company has been showing it off for a few months, but it’s not available in the US… yet.

Samsung has announced that the Tab 7.7 will soon be available from Verizon. The wireless carrier will offer a version of the tablet that can work on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

The tablet has a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface running on top.

I got a chance to spend a few moments with the tablet last night, and it’s a pretty impressive little device. It’s remarkably thin an light and the screen is one of the best looking I’ve seen in terms of brightness, viewing angles, and color.

  1. These new tablets have amazing screens. When time comes, I know I’ll have a hard time deciding between a 7.7inch super AMOLED plus or a 10inch 1080p screen.
