LG will show off two new ultrabooks at the Consumer Electronics Show next week. The LG Z330 features a 13.3 inch display, while the LG Z430 is a 14 inch model.
Both laptops will be available with a choice of Intel 2nd generation Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 processors and Intel GMA 3000 HD graphics. They will run either Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional.
The LG Z330 has 4GB of RAM and solid state disk with 120GB or 256GB of storage. The ultrabook measures 12.4″ x 8.5″ x 0.6″ and weighs 2.7 pounds with a 3 cell battery.
The Z430 supports up to 8GB of RAM, will be available with a 128GB solid state disk or a 500GB hard drive (with 16GB of solid state cache), and has a 4 cell battery. It measures 13″ Â x 8.9″ x 0.8″ and weighs 3.3 pounds.
There’s no word on pricing or availability, but LG laptops don’t tend to come cheap. I wouldn’t expect these to be the most inexpensive ultrabooks you’ll see this year.
