Lenovo IdeaPad A2

Lenovo is adding a new 9 inch Android to its lineup. The IdeaTab A2 is like a souped up version of last year’s IdeaPad A1 budget tablet.

Like the A1, the new model has a rollcage design for durability. But the new model has a larger, higher resolution 1280 x 800 pixel display. It also has SRS audio.

The tablet has 16GB of storage, a dual core Texas Instruments Processor, and runs Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Lenovo plans to offer a WiFi-only model initially, but a 3G model is also in the works.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A2 weighs 1.3 pounds.

  1. I think they renamed this to be the IdeaTab A2109, which just got released. 9 inch screen, 1280×800, but with quad-core Tegra 3 instead of dual-core TI OMAP
