ZTE Sprint

Chinese device maker ZTE seems to be on a tablet-making roll. Over the past few weeks we’ve seen ZTE Smart Tab7 and Smart Tab7 tablets show up at the FCC website. Now they’ve been joined by an unnamed ZTE tablet which will apparently be available on Sprint’s wireless network soon.

The device is described as a “CDMA Tablet” in FCC documents, and it features WiFi, Bluetooth, and mobile broadband capabilities. There are also indications that the device will have a camera and GPS. It measures 7.7″ x 4.7″ which means it probably has a 7 inch display.

The user manual and photos are all hidden away thanks to a confidentiality agreement, but the label location drawing seems to suggest that the tablet will run some version of Google Android.

Neither ZTE nor Sprint have made any official announcements about the tablet yet, so there’s no information about the specifications, price, or launch date.

One reply on “ZTE tablet coming to Sprint”

  1. If, this one has the Pixel Qi screen… ?  Then FINALLY, this might be the ZTE Light 2?    Sprint huh – Too bad we can’t get it without a contract.

And it is too bad that in the US you can’t buy “Pre-paid Data that is not pay-as-you go, where you pay just on the data you use… where you buy a certain amount of data use, and when you use that up, you can renew for more.
