Tursion TS-102

By definition, a pico projector is tiny. These little projectors can be handheld devices that you can connect to a laptop or other device to project a display onto a big screen — or I’ve even seen pico projectors built into laptops, tablets, and other hardware. But the Tursion TS-102 is something unusual.

At first glance, it looks like just another pocketable projector. But this little guy has a 624 MHz dual core processor, 8GB of flash storage, and it runs Google Android 2.1. The TS-102 has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, allowing you to view the Android software on a screen up to 100 inches.

There’s also a touchpad which you can use to navigate the Android interface. So you can use the projector to play videos, display presentations, or play video games projected onto your wall.

The device has a microSD card slot and an 80 minute battery. It went on sale this week at Amazon for $449, but the TS-102 is already out of stock.
