MSI WindPad Enjoy 7 at the FCC

It’s been a little over a month since the MSI WindPad Enjoy 10 made an appearance at the FCC. Now it’s time for the Android tablet’s little sibling to walk the blue carpet. The WindPad Enjoy 7 showed up at the FCC website this week.

The tablet is expected to cost about $199 and feature a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display, a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Android 2.3 operating system, and up to 6 hours of battery life. It will weigh less than 0.9 pounds.

When MSI introduced the WindPad Enjoy 7 this summer it sounded like a pretty good device for the price, but now that Lenovo is planning to launch a 7 inch Android 2.3 tablet with a 1024 x 600 pixel display and built-in GPS for about the same price, I have to wonder why anyone would choose the MSI option.

  1. Brad, you should cover the Viewsonic ViewPad 7e that’s being shown at IFA (and covered on Slashgear). It’s in the same category as this and the Lenovo A1.
