The team at Netbook Navigator are starting to take pre-orders for their new 10 inch tablet. The Netbook Navigator Nav 10i has a starting price of $549 — although that price doesn’t include an operating system. If you want Windows 7 you’ll have to pay extra for it.
The tablet has a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive multitouch screen, and will be available with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of storage with 1.8 inch solid state disk.
The Nav 10i will support up to 2GB of DDR3 memory and includes 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1. There’s also support for optional 3G.
You get 2 USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card slot, mini HDMI port, and a SIM card slot, as well as a 1.3MP front-facing camera, stereo speakers, and a 3200mAh battery.
Weighing 1.5 pounds and measuring 10.8″ x 6.7″ x 0.5″ the Nav 10i would’t look out of place next to most Andriod tablets, but it has an integrated trackpad at one end as well as mouse buttons.
Netbook Navigator will also sell an optional wireless keyboard for the tablet.
The company first unveiled this tablet at CES in January, but it’s finally ready to start shipping the Nav 10i soon.
