Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D

Android tablets have flooded the market in recent months, but the Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D is different from the rest. It’s meant to survive a flood… or at least some light rain. It’s a 10 inch Android tablet with a waterproof  and ruggedized case.

Fujitsu is expected to officially launch the device with Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo next week, but the key details have already been leaked.

The tablet is expected to have a 1 GHz TI OMAP4430 dual core processor, a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, and Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. It will have 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, front and rear cameras, the usual range of ports, and 2G, 3G, and 4G wireless capabilities.

Fujitsu’s tablet will even have a digital TV tuner, but it’s designed to work with Japanese broadcast television and won’t be much use in the US or Europe.

The Arrows Tab F-01D will measure 10.3″ x 7.1″ x 0.5″  and weigh 1.3 pounds.
