The HP TouchPad tablet has been available in the United States for a little over two weeks. Now folks in Canada, the UK, France and Germany can pick one up in their respective countries as well.

The international versions are pretty much the same as the tablets available in the US, with 16GB and 32GB models selling for 479 Euros and up in France and Germany, $450 and up in Canada, and £399 and up in the UK.

The tablet features a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel multitouch display, a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor, and the webOS 3.0 operating system.

Earlier reviewers have given the HP TouchPad high marks for originality, but low scores in the actual functionality department. There are currently only a few hundreds third party apps designed for the tablet, and the device reportedly feels sluggish at times. HP has promised to release a softwaer update to address that problem.
