Staples tablet coupon

The good news is that Staples is offering $100 off most tablets through July 30th. The bad news is that you have to print out the coupon, take it into a physical store, and hope they have the tablet you’re looking for in stock.

The store isn’t accepting coupons for the NOOK Color, Amazon Kindle, or HP TouchPad. But if you can find a Staples location with tablets in stock, you might be able to snag a Samsung Galaxy Tab or Motorola XOOM for $400, an Asus Eee Pad Tansformer or Acer Iconia Tab for $300, or a Toshiba Thrive for $380.

Staples also offers the Dell Streak 7 for 300, which means you might be able to pick up a 7 inch tablet with an 800 x 480 pixel display and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor for as little as $200 this week.

  1. Local store manager said the eee pad sold out in in hour. Now he can only get me the 16GB Thrive so I said no thanks. I’m sure the Thrive will be 300$ by Xmas anyway.

Guess I’m still waiting for the 8.9 tab with quad band HSPA

  2. gee maybe if i had 400 kicking around, but i think im gonna wait for the new thinkpad, runs netflix, and i looked up lenovo is leading in “most reliable computer”

  3. Call your local stores first.  I called the three Staples nearest to me – all of them said the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is an online-only item and not stocked in store.  They did have the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and one store said they think the Toshiba Thrive was on the truck that came in today.  That have some other tablets – an Acer, the HP, RIM I think, and some others.

  4. Being able to save $100 is still good; especially for tablet pc’s. I will check out what my Staples has. I will bring the coupon I printed with me. 🙂

    1. Yeah, this sort of deal is great for promoting impulse buys. 🙂

Normally I’d stay away from the Dell Streak with its low-res display and Android 2.2 operating system. But for $200, it might be worth picking one up and hacking it to run Honeycomb!
