Lenovo IdeaPad K1

Last time we heard about the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 the 10 inch Android tablet had started making the rounds at a handful of online retail web sites. Now Engadget has posted an image of a product card for the tablet at a real life bricks and mortar store. It looks like OfficeMax will begin offering the tablet for $499.99 soon.

The IdeaPad K1 is basically the US version of the Lenovo LePad. It’s expected to feature a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It will have front and rear cameras, measure about half an inch thick, and weigh about 1.65 pounds.

It looks like the tablet will ship with Android 3.0, which is starting to look a little dated, what with all the Android 3.1 and 3.2 announcements we’ve seen in recent weeks.

There’s still no word on an official ship date.
