The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is due out next month, and in preparation for launch, the tablet has made a stop at the FCC. Unfortunately the documents on the FCC web site don’t contain any real photos, but there are a few drawings showing detailed measurements.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display and Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. We already know that the tablet will have a 1 GHz dual core processor, and 16GB or 32GB of storage.
An earlier version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 hit the FCC two months ago, but Samsung has refined the design since then, making the tablet thinner. The older model will still be sold in some regions as the Galaxy Tab 10.1V, but the new version is the one that will most likely go on sale in the US soon.
