Somehow I missed this yesterday when I noted that MSI had unveiled a new 7 inch Android tablet, but it looks like the company is introducing a whole new line of Android tablets under the WindPad Enjoy name.
The Enjoy tablets appear to be positioned as cheaper alternatives to the MSI WindPad 100A. That tablet has a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display and a 1 GHz NVIDIA Teagra 2 dual core processor. It has 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The MSI WindPad Enjoy 10, on the other hand, has a 10 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel display, a 1.2 GHz ARM Coretex-A8 processor, and runs Google Android 2.3. It has 512MB of RAM and just 4GB of storage.
The WindPad Enjoy 7 has the same operating system, processor, memory and storage as its 10 inch sibling, but it’s a smaller device with a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display.
The folks at Notebook Italia posted a video looking at the two tablets. You can check it out after the break, and find more hands-on photos at their site.
Well i’ll be! looks very tempting, especially if the 10.1 got bluetooth in there.
Btw, it looks like the screen is 4:3 rather then 16:9. If so it is really interesting for document reading.
