Is that 8GB microSD card you bought for your phone starting to look a little puny now that Google has started letting developers upload apps up to 4GB in size to the Android Market? Not to worry. 64GB microSDXC cards are on the way.

KINGMAX has introduced the first 64GB card. It’s a class 6 microSD card which means that it should be fast enough to handle HD video recording and other tasks which require relatively speedy storage.

Like all microSD cards, the new KINGMAX 64GB card is ridiculously small, measuring about 15, x 11, x 1mm or about 0.6″ x 0.4″ x 0.04″.

There’s no word on how much the new card will cost. My guess? A lot.
