Google has just pushed an updated version of Chrome OS beta. Chrome OS R12 Beta is essentially the version of the operating system that’s likely to ship on the first Chromebooks from Acer and Samsung next month, but as the beta label implies, Google is still looking to squash a couple of bugs. There are still some known issues in the latest beta including problems with 3G activation, the chat window, and even the much-touted Angry Birds game for Chrome.

That said, Chrome OS R12 beta includes some security fixes and all the latest features including an updated version of Adobe Flash, an integrated file browser, and improvements for video chat, trackpad sensitivity, and wireless connections.
