We already know that Dell is working on a new 10 inch Android tablet, and there’s evidence that the company is already testing the device behind closed doors. Now the folks at Tweakers.net have posted what may be some of the first images of the tablet, along with detailed specifications.
The tablet reportedly has a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra T20 dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, and a choice of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of storage as well as an SDHC card for expansion. The Dell Streak Pro will have a 5MP rear camera and a front-facing 2MP camera, and Tweakers.net reports it will include WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as optional mobile broadband capabilities. The tablet is said to have a 24.1 Whr battery.
The 10 inch tablet is said to measure 10.27″ x 6.93″ x 0.35″ and weigh 1.59 pounds. That makes it just a hair thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but I’m guessing you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference.
According to the leaked images, Dell will offer a media docking station and other accessories including a car charger. There will also be enterprise features such as support for VPN and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
