The Lenovo ThinkPad X120e is a business class thin and light laptop with an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and an AMD E-350 dual core processor. As YouTube user wussyib discovered, it’s also relatively easy to upgrade.
It might not be as easy to remove the back panel on the X120e as on the HP Pavilion dm1z (which has a panel that can be removed without a screwdriver). But once you take remove three screws, the large panel comes off revealing the RAM, hard drive, PCIe slot, and other internals.
In the videos below you can see wussyib remove the hard drive, upgrade the RAM, and make other minor modifications.
