A WiFi-only version of the Dell Streak 7 Android tablet is due out any day now in the US, but it looks like it’s already available on the other side of the pond. Dell UK is selling the tablet for £299, which is about $488 US, although the tablet is expected to be about $100 cheaper in the States.

The Dell Streak 7 features a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 16GB of storage, and front and rear cameras.

Unfortunately the 7 inch tablet has a low resolution 800 x 480 pixel display and runs Android 2.2, which is beginning to look a bit dated. If you’re in the market for a cheap Android tablet without a 3G service contract, you might want to take a look at the 10 inch ViewSonic gTablet instead, which is available in the US today for just $280.
