According to Dell’s web site, the WiFi-only model of the Dell Streak 7 tablet is still “coming soon,” but the folks at Netbook News noticed that the tablet is now available from Amazon.com for $379.99. In fact, Amazon is even offering one-day shipping on the tablet.

The 7 inch Android tablet also went on sale in the UK last week.

The Dell Streak 7 has an 800 x 480 pixel display, a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and runs Google Android 2.2 with Dell’s Stage software overlay. It’s not the fanciest Android tablet around, but it’s one of the cheaper models with a dual core Tegra 2 chip.

Dell also offers a model with an HSPA+ modem which you can pick up from T-Mobile for $200 with a 2 year contract or $450 without.

  1. That screen resolution is a serious deal breaker for a tablet, Tegra 2 or not.

    1. Amen, brother. They’ve done The Right Thing with other specs – capacitive touch screen, Corning® Gorilla® Glass, Bluetooth 2.1, ‘n’ WiFi, decent cameras, GPS… and then they cheap out on the screen?! This will tank, guaranteed.
