Samsung still hasn’t announced a launch date or price for its new 10.1 inch tablet in the US, but it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 could be headed to US shores in the not-too-distant future. The FCC has published a series of documents related to the new tablet.
There’s nothing really juicy on the FCC web site yet such as a user manual or internal photos of the tablet. Those are all hidden thanks to a confidentiality request. But we do know that the wireless components seem to make the tablet a good fit for the AT&T 3G network.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display and runs Google Android 3.0. I wouldn’t be surprised if it launches in Europe before the US, as that’s exactly what happened with the original Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch Android tablet.
