Netronix introduces a 9.7 inch Android tablet

03/01/2011 at 11:40 AM by Brad Linder 1 Comment

Netronix is a Taiwanese company that produces eBook readers and computer components. But Charbax from ARMdevices caught up with the company at CeBIT this week and got a chance to check out a new Android tablet with a 9.7 inch display.

The tablet has a Freescale i.mx51 processor, a capacitive multitouch display, and runs Google Android 2.2 Froyo. The company hopes to release the tablet in mid-May for around $250.

The prototype has a rather glossy looking screen, microUSB and USB ports, a headphone jack, and built-in speakers. It has capacitive touch buttons built into the screen bezel.

You can check out Charbax’s video after the break.
