When Lenovo introduced the 11.6 inch IdeaPad S205 notebook earlier this year, the company said it would be available with an optional 3G modem. Now it looks like it may have a 4G option as well.
Wireless Goodness spotted an FCC listing for the Lenovo IdeaPad S205 that shows a Huawei data modem which supports GSM 850 and 1900 bands and WCDMA bands II and V. In addition to AT&T’s 3G data network, that means it will also support AT&T’s 4G HSPA+ network.
The laptop features an AMD E-350 dual core processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 750GB of hard drive space. It weighs less than 3 pounds and has a starting price of $499.99.
