The HP TouchPad tablet inches closer to an official launch — even though HP hasn’t given us an official release date or price tag for the 8.9 inch tablet yet. But that hasn’t stopped Amazon.com from posting a product page for the tablet — complete with a couple of user reviews from people who clearly don’t actually own it yet.

Engadget also spotted a video from Vietnamese tech site Tinh te showing the tablet’s front, back, and sides… including a SIM card slot.

It’s possible that the tablet in the video is just an early prototype, so the SIM card may or may not be available in the finished product once it ships. For now, you can check out the video after the break for a better hands-on look at the tablet.

The HP TouchPad features a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and up to 32GB of storage. It supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and has a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It runs the webOS 3.0 operating system.

The version on Amazon.com appears to be a WiFi-only model, but 3G and 4G models are expected to ship as well.
