Asus has announced that the Eee PC 1015PW netbook will soon be available with a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor.

The Eee PC 1015PW is the company’s latest 10 inch netbook with a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 250GB hard drive. Up until recently, the mini-laptop’s most distinctive features were the textured pattern on the lid and the purple, gold, and pink color options.

Now the netbook will be one of the first to feature a shiny new Atom N570 processor. Several netbooks fromĀ  Lenovo and Samsung will also hit the streets with Atom N570 chips soon, and the Acer Aspire One AOD255E is already available with the new processor.
